You won’t want to miss this class. May 26 at 1:00 pm in the back garden at Over the Fence. Our plant specialist Dawna Emerson Hinton will be teaching Container Gardens. Very informative and fun she will present all it takes to produce your own spectacular planted container whether it is a huge ceramic planter or an old boot. There is no charge so bring a friend and get inspired!
We are loving the new Kinetics. These are the good ones not the knockoffs, nylon gears will keep them humming for years. They have been in high demand for Mother’s Day . Hannah and Tony have just bought our last XL in stock. There is still a great selection in our garden, more of these big handsome dudes will be back next week. Any of these pieces of moving garden art make an awesome gift!
At last the garden is ready. The remodel is complete of our 2,000 sq ft outdoor space at the rear of our building. For years it has been affectionately called the Pot Yard hosting our extensive pottery collection. Now the pots are featured among lovely plantings and garden art. You can purchase plants, pots and all kinds of containers planted and ready to go.
The remodel of the French room is underway. Plans are in place and product has been ordered.
New cedar ceiling and lighting are almost finished. A fresh coat of paint and the new kitchen will be ready.
In my experience remodels always seem to evolve. This project is no different. Tomorrow our container from Bali is getting unloaded and a lot of it will be stored in this new space while we unpack. So our fun, new kitchen will be awhile before it is completely set up. Since most of the construction happens after hours we have been using the space to display in during the day. This week all the canvases that are on sale take up a couple walls. So the evolution of Over the Fence continues. I love that part!
Don’t forget the “pay it forward” bonus you can use when hanging out in Sequim’s downtown. Lots of merchants are giving a 10% discount if you present the receipt from your purchase at the precious participating store/bakery/restaurant. Each new receipt can be used one time. Just keep those receipts handy and ask first if the business is “Paying in forward?” Good until Christmas so have fun eating and shopping is Sequim this Season!
